The experience I gained at the Pinnacle Corporation is truely invaluable. I was able to work on such a large array of projects, my experience continually evolved. My first challenge was to rebrand the company, with the exception of their logo (which I had to work with). I did a complete overhaul of the visual facade. One of the biggest challenges was to categorize their 30+ software products – hence the icons. Each icon represents a segment of the convenience store in regards to Pinnacle’s software. The icons are now used on all of Pinnacle’s corporate branding. Next came the overhaul of all existing collateral and marketing materials. In addition to branding, my other design responsibilities included promotional design for all events and tradeshows as well as designing Pinnacle’s print and web advertisements. Our marketing team also published a quarterly newletter, the Perspective. Its content included: Pinnacle updates, product information and industry news and was written in-house by Pinnacle employees. When I started at Pinnacle the newsletter was 3 spreads and when I left it had grown to 36 pages. My last big project at Pinnacle was completely redoing their website.
