I had the privilege of designing this logo for a local charity: Mommies in Need.
Mommies In Need provides in-home childcare to stay at home parents going through a health crisis. A large percentage of families with one stay-at-home parent are living fairly comfortably and well above the government poverty level, but do not have the financial resources to hire full-time help if the stay-at-home parent becomes disabled due to illness or injury. Mommies In Need offers a tangible and relatableservice to people who are in an extremely difficult situation.
